The Loddon area Progress/Development Associations Network had its second meeting on 4 May 2016 at the Bush Nursing Centre at Dingee and shared successes and challenges.  The meeting was hosted by Alan Newbold and Julie Beck from the Dingee Progress Association.

The meeting was well attended with representatives from Wedderburn, Inglewood, Bridgewater, Newbridge and Pyramid Hill Progress/Development Associations all of whom enjoyed frank and open discussion about current and future projects within their areas.

Wendy Gladman (Director Community Wellbeing) and Allan Stobaus (Manager Community Support) attended the meeting and provided an overview of Council's new structure and spoke briefly on community planning.  Wendy and Allan invited and responded to a number of questions from Network members and indicated their preparedness to link into the Network to disseminate information when appropriate and possible.

Iems discussed included:

  • outdoor gynasiums
  • town entry signs
  • distribution of newsletters

Tne next meeing has been scheduled for Wednesday 10 August 2016 in Inglewood.  If you have any matters that could be addressed by the Network please contact your local Progress/Development Association members and ask them to raise the matter with the Network.
